Friday/Saturday: Anime North!!!

Well I apologize for not having updated yesterday but I got home at around 11:30 and I was tired and wanted to watch Friday night anime...so here's a quick run-down.

Even when I was pre-registered, the line was HUGE and it took about a hour to get in! When we did get in there was SO much to see! So much manga! Anime! Wallscrolls! Figurines! EVERYTHING! Of course because I was carrying 20 dollars I couldn't buy anything.

We went to a panel, in the middle of it actually, sat for 10 mins and left (it was for Naruto...BORING).

Saw some skits, pretty cool. Saw some AMVs but left at 10 because my friends wanted to ditch. Wasn't much to Friday, very quiet...

Now Saturday was a different story. Got there at 10:50 AM, which was 30 mins later than what I told Yuy when we were going to arrive (very bad I know). Anyway basically we went around the dealer's room buying a lot of stuff! I picked up vols. 3, 4, 5, 6 of Host Club, the first volume of Saikano (girlfriend is the ultimate weapon of destruction!!!), Evangelion: Angelic Days (I swear there was only ONE COPY of it in the entire place!) and a very exciting title for me...

Serial Experiments Lain.

Sweet! I managed to save a few bucks on the thing with a bit of haggling too! Well I have not read Saikano at all, so that's going to be totally new...I already know Host Club (and I read the first chapter of vol. 3, same ol' hijinks...), already read Evangelion: Angelic Days up to vol. 4 chapter 1 (I'm collecting it because...well...it's Angelic Days!) and Lain...

Well Lain I've wanted to pick up for a LONG LONG TIME. Oh yes, and I managed to get the first season of Tsubasa Chronicles from a friend.

That friend = pwnage.
