Seven Works of Mercy

Now we all know about the seven deadly sins.

Gluttony
Pride
Wrath
Envy
Greed
Sloth
Lust

They are VERY serious sins, very...DEADLY. You need to confess to be alleviated of the sins, or else it's into the oven!

Funny how lust is pretty popular on television now. I practice lust every night.

In bed.

Sexual innuendo, ha ha. Seriously though, envy is the coolest by judging from FMA designs.

Otherwise, there is no favorite sin...COUGHCOUGH.

Now you know Envy and Sloth-like and Lustful and Greedy, Prideful and Wrathful and finally Glut-tony. (Hint, try saying that to the opening words of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer).

But do you recall....the seven cor-poreal works of mercy? (okay that was just out of tune).

1. Feed the hungry
2. Give drink to the thirsty
3. Welcome the stranger
4. Clothe the naked
5. Visit the sick
6. Visit the prisoner
7. Bury the dead.

Pretty cool huh? Yeah I thought so.

And if you're wondering, yes I'm procrastinating, yes I have been all day, yes I am behind on homework, yes I plan on getting back to work, no I will not donate to the poor.

Because those thirsty, sick prisoners of society should return their clothes to the rest of society, and give us back the food we donated so they can die without us burying them!

And THAT is how you commit offences against the seven works of mercy in a single, coherent sentence.

I think I remember someone mentioned how to commit the seven deadly sins at the same time. Surround yourself with gold amassed from the villagers while having a giant orgy and eating, and at the same time do not move out of bed and be envious of that guy who's happier than you even without money.

You're prideful because a) you ain't going to say anything about that happy jerk, and b) you hold yourself higher than others (though that damn jerk....).

Man I am on FIRE today, or at least I will be for the next couple of infinite years. Get it? A hell joke?

Seriously people, it's good to be good, so help out those that need help once in a while, and try not to sin so much, it isn't cool.
