A few details.
1. Looks like Ontario has a majority Liberal government.
To all the Liberal haters, BOOYAH! TAKE THAT RELIGIOUS SCHOOL FUNDING ISSUE!
2. Super Smash Bros. is a game created by Nintendo that originated on the N64. The basic premise was an all out free-for-all featuring a bunch of Nintendo characters. Originally there were like 12 characters, including Mario, Luigi, Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Ness, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Fox McCloud, and Samus Aran.
A sequel was released a few years later under the title "Super Smash Bros. Melee" and the number of characters jumped into the 20s. A few notable additions were the Princesses Zelda and Peach, Bowser, and even throwbacks to old games like the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game and Watch (now that was REALLY old).
Now, to be released next year, is the third game, "Super Smash Bros. Brawl." In the unveiling trailer at E3, four veteran characters returned: Mario, Kirby, Pikachu, and Link. A few newcomers were included, such as Pit, Meta Knight, Wario, and Zero Suit Samus.
However, at the end of the trailer was a very special surprise. While in the past characters in the SSB games were all Nintendo, this one was not. This was a third-party character, one that would divide fans into two camps: those for more 3rd party characters, and those against. This character, was Snake from the Metal Gear series.
A number of months has passed, a few more characters were shown, including Diddy Kong, Lucas, and the Pokemon Trainer.
Today however, was a very special announcement, for today was the inclusion of one of Mario's biggest competitors.
Sonic the Hedgehog.
The news shook the SSB community like an earthquake. Obviously Sonic was a huge contender, but now that the news has been confirmed people have voiced their opinion quite loudly.
Sonic has joined the Brawl.
