Three-way chess.

Yes that's right, three-way.

The board is set up easily, the actual battlefield normally found in regular chess (the giant empty space before anyone moves) stays the same, except that there are extensions to it at the four sides, so that you have two regular sides, and then two more.

Kind of like that, just ignore the a's. The person in the middle would NORMALLY get murdered, unfortunately my opponents decided to gang up on me (I was at a side, not the middle).

It also requires you to pay A LOT of attention to everything, I made a small move which would be normal in regular chess, but forgot there was a third player. I lost a rook eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarly.

So wrong, yet so cool.

Oh yeah, Angelic Days. Funny how I read up to volume 4, chapter 1, before it was licensed, and when I finally got caught up and read the rest of volume 4...well, it all kind of just sucked. The battle (which was suppose to be THREE FREAKING ANGELS against the Evangelions) was a TOTAL mess, and did NOT end well at all (the Angels kind of just...left), the romance was dead, and the novelty of seeing Rei act, NORMAL, was dead.

No, not dead, just that she was really annoying now.

So I was disappointed by LIFE, Angelic Days, Someday's Dreamers, and Host Club...wow. I did read volume 1 of Legal Drug, that's kind of fun. Reminds me of xxxHolic a lot though (same creators), except that you have an openly homosexual couple.

They don't do anything, but one sure likes to wrap his arms around the other and put his hand into the guy's shirt.
