Personal Sound Amplifying Device
Like a hearing aid, but you can direct it (or something) so you can hear stuff from a particular direction.
They actually advertised that you can use it to eavesdrop on conversations, and I mean stated it bluntly. Like listening to conversations across the sidewalk, or across the room, seriously, this is stalker material!
For 14.95 only!
In other things, I went to Anime North on the weekend. 256 dollars spent on manga (and one plushie), with no discs of anime.
At all.
I was REALLY hoping to pick up Nerima Daikon Brothers, it's a freaking musical! With sexual innuendo! Of course at 35 bucks for the second DVD + box and 27 dollars for the first and third, the total comes to 89 dollars.
There was also FLCL Ultimate, but I saw it for 70 bucks. Honestly, I ran out of freaking money just buying all the manga I wanted. I paid 12 dollars for the two FLCL manga and one volume of "Someday's Dreamers." Someday's Dreamers...is not that great.
FINALLY got Legal Drug, haven't read it yet but this is the first time I've actually SEEN the first volume. Then there's 6 volumes of Saikano, 4 volumes of Angelic Days...
2 volumes of LIFE, which for the record: took a very, very, twisted turn and just isn't that great...
And I mean TWISTED turn...
So happy I actually managed to find a copy of the first boxset of the CCS manga, that thing is OUT OF PRINT for like...a year, and there were TWO copies of it left. So happy.
Though the pinnacle of it all, which you'd think is the "Ultimate Plushie" (though it costed 32 dollars, when I could get it somewhere else for 20...just picked up the normal mushroom for 10 dollars, and it was the smallest size), was one of the last additions to the list.
The pinnacle, was Love Roma volumes 1 - 5. It is such a cute, innocent, regular, slice of life/school life shoujo manga. Okay, so maybe there are instances of someone being perverted, or one...different...chapter...*mumbles had a freaking cast on mumbles* but it's so good. Very down to earth. The main male character can be a bit...too...honest. Like he's 100% totally blunt. I can't give a proper review at this time, but I probably will in the future. It's really good, a bit repetitive but I find it funny. Very, very, down to earth.
Love Roma is awesome!
