Breaking news! (also known as "DOOM!" or "Monday" or "WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?!?!?!?!?!?")
Okay so I'm walking on sunshine from my chemistry lecture to the library, because I need to study for math tomorrow and I have two hours to burn.
So along the way I pass by my chemistry building, so I decide to go in and see if the marks are up. Oh yay, they are!
And then more people come.
And then some more.
And then a lot more.
Eventually I decided to leave because I REALLY needed to study. So I went, and then some people came, and then it was just cramming and cramming and cramming.
And then I left a bit early (2:45 PM) to get to my math lecture at 3, also to check the marks because the building is across from the chemistry building: and guess what? No one's there! So then I check the mark and...
The average is 54.3%! WOW! Just wow! Did we get owned or WHAT? So we got badly burned, very badly.
Though if memory serves me correct then last semester we got like 53% last time on the first test too. Is that a good sign? I don't know, I really don't know.
So here I am, blogging, and then I have to go down to memorize a bunch of antiderivatives, because really, Prof. Lam is a stickler when it comes to using the most INFREQUENT ANTIDERIVATIVES!
I guess I should add more substance to this, hmm...well Yuy-sama talked about dreams...did I dream lately? No, I did almost skip philosophy today. I really didn't want to go becasue I was SOOOO tired (mentally), but I ended up going. I just go and listen anyway, not much writing.
Yeah, I have a math test tomorrow. It's the one on integration, all hell will break loose as life science students begin whining and I get annoyed.
Speaking of which, there was a thread on the UofT message boards about whether...
OH GOD WHY ARE THERE TWO PHONES IN THIS ROOM?! WHY?!
Story for later. Anyway, thread, someone was asking whether or not you decided that it was time to leave Life Sci, this is in the first year forums.
So there's a bunch of talk, and then eventually some med-school student decided to state that he thinks that most of life science students are brats. And then it got into flaming about why UofT students shouldn't diss York and other stuff...
THE POINT IS, well one of the points made were that a lot of life science students whine about marks and such and guess what? I have no idea if this is true. However I do remember that a lot of the people who whined in DMCI went either into Engineering (any kind) or life science.
Other something else...
The point stands! So is life science really the course for me? Am I really doing the world a favor by staying in the program that the general consensus says that most of us want to go into med school?
Well, no. Life Science is NOT the course for me. Human Biology is! HA! I WIN BY TECHNICALITY! Human Biology is the overall program name, then it splits into Human Bio: Genes, Genetics, Biotechnology. Human Bio: Health and Disease. Human Bio: that other one I can't remember. And Life Science.
Life Science is the major program, and since I'm specializing...
Yay I win by technicality! ...I need sugar. SUGAR! GIVE ME BLOODY SUGAR! SUGAR!!!!!! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
