Cool songs.
So I just finished listening to the full theme of Full Metal Panic Fumoffu?, which is really really good. Well, first time I watched it I thought it was REALLY REALLY GOOD (and the lyrics are good too) so then I really like it, and now I have it.
I'll give the lyrics out later, they're cool...
Now for the flip side, while that was jpop, we have intensely remixed guitar-riffs + chorus chanting + '97 gaming music themes that are just...well I think I summed it up there. You say you have no idea what I'm talking about? Well here are the lyrics! Yes, that was a poor excuse to bring this up: THE LYRICS ARE FRELLING DIFFERENT.
Estuans interius Burning inside
ira vehementi with violent anger,
Estuans interius Brning inside
ira vehementi with violent anger,
Sephiroth Sephiroth
Sephiroth Sephiroth
That's the original...first couple of lines.
Noli manere, manare in memoria. (x2) Won't remain, remain in memory. (x2)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth. Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
Saevam iram, iram et dolorem. (x2) Raging anger, anger and misery. (x2)
Sephiroth, Sephiroth. Sephiroth, Sephiroth.
Totally different, which is good. Whcih is good.
Okay the lyrics for "Sore ga, Ai Deshou" is way too long...so here's the link.

Personally I love those lyrics to bits! BITS!!!
Yes, I'm also currently reading this very long review of Dragon Quest 8, coming out on November 22 for US. Got my registration for a free demo + SLIME KEYCHAIN in, waiting for it...hey, it's a good game. Since Dragon Quest 3 came out, it's been official that no Dragon Quest game be released on a weekday...there was...a lot of school skipping...THAT POPULAR. (In Japan...come on! They're fanatics compared to moi! In all aspects too! REALLY SCARY!)
It's the kind of old-school RPG that, apparently play it like a Final Fantasy game and be whipped....oh? How do you play a Final Fantasy game? Why with plenty of leveling + railroad mapping + save points! Lots of save points!
Definitions
Plenty of leveling: Means that you need SOME level to face off a boss, but not that much.
Railroad mapping: To get from point A to point C you need to cross point B. Oh, while the enemies in point A are super weak, the ones in point C are super strong. So you gain some levels in point B to be able to handle point C.
Save points: Save points...on a world map.
In DQ8, you need to level up very much to face off against a boss. Or just be really suicidal.
In DQ8, you can travel anywhere on the map from the start, so if you're insane...you can theoretically travel to the areas where the monsters can destroy you instantly.
In DQ8, the save points are at churchs, in towns...only.
In DQ8 you usually return to town beaten to a pulp with no potions left whatsoever.
Is DQ series totally different from FF series? Yes. Will I be totally overwhelmed at first? Yes. Will it be fun?
Of course.
So back to music, Final Fantasy VII: AC did that right. They took precious music from back in the day, and gave it new life. (But hey...with a composer like Nobuo on the team...that is pretty standard...)Now I prefer the new remixes to the old, for certain themes. Nothing will ever replace Aerith's theme from 7, simply because it was based on the opera scene from 6, which is just an amazingly romantic scene. So I guess it is the opera scene's theme that is closest to my heart, simply because Final Fantasy 6...easily...one of the best games ever. (If it weren't such a GLITCH I'd beat it into a pulp...and THEN SOME. For reference, I only beat SO3 into a pulp, never that much more)
I still can't beat Chrono Trigger into a pulp, it's just too hard. Sorry but I'm way too strong that I don't need to be MORE strong....I mean stronger. Whatever. My english is not being judged now. Chrono Trigger also had wicked music too, some themes I hate, some themes are just...oh....I remember Frog's theme and just go WOW! I remember Crono and Marle's theme and I just think of bittersweetness.
Chrono Cross also had wicked music, the theme was just...the end theme, Radical Dreamers...just amazing. Oh damn, listening to Aerith's theme....so many memories. You know, a game is good if the graphics are satisfying, the story draws you in, the characters are relateable, and you have a kick ass final boss battle...
A game is excellent if it draws you in, and then plunges you head first into the universe. This is Final Fantasy 7 (but currently, let me talk about 6), it's simple in the beginning, but after the world is destroyed...the people you loved...are gone. So you search for theme, and when you're all united, you just feel so overwhelmingly happy. I was so sad when Rachel died...I was so sad for Locke when his love forgot who he was...I was sad for Celes when she lost Cid...(or if you lose Cid...). I was intrigued by Gogo...who was he, she, IT. Was it Darryl, Setzer's old friend? I was shocked with Gau's father, when he went berserk after seeing Gau...I was touched by therotherly love between Sabin and Edgar. It was cool with Shadow, to be a mercenary. Unique with Strago and Relm, grandfather and granddughter, on some wild journey. Mog, the slam-dancing, fast-talking, streewise-moogle. Umaro..the...abominable snowman...
Final Fantasy 6 was amazing in all aspects, it drew me in, I loved the characters, I loved the world, and I was sad when it ended...
Chrono Trigger is the same as well, the silent protagonist, the innocent beginning...the quest to save the future, and the blossoming romance between the two that met on the day of the fair...
Chrno Cross did that as well, but with 44 characters it was just oo much. When I first faced off Miguel...I was so inspired by the battle music, it wasn't fast paced, it wasn't a chant...it was...amazing. When I realized who Miguel was...I...was reluctant to kill him...to that music, to who he was...but I did it. To get to the end, to tie up the loose end from Chrono Trigger that spawned Cross.
Now for 7...for Aerith's theme. Aerith was kind...she was...one of a kind. Her gentleness was so touching, and her theme just made everything so perfect.
But when Sephiroth killed her, the game was no longer about saving the world, it wasn't about being a hero, it was about REVENGE. It was about REVENGE for taking away one of the most kind characters ever. That flower girl...the pretty lady and her flower garden.
Today was the last day that we'll ever see each other again, or was that yesterday? Either way, we'll never see each other for a while, because this time there's no reason to return to T.O., there's no reason to get out of T.O., now we'll return to our studies, and when anther party pops up, who knows? We'll all be together again, and catch up. But more likely, we'll only see those who we connected with the most.
iGAYS WILL LIVE!
Now fight Megaman! For everlasting peace!

It's funny, I've been reading this article about two HK movies called "Cheungking Express" and "Fallen Angels," the former being SLIGHTLY familiar...but I don't remember. All I know is that it was really sweet, but what I remember is from a movie called "Sound of Color" which was very sweet. So here, the quote that is most disturbing and most saddening at the same time.
"Fallen Angels shows a harrowing and impulsive moment by Michele Reis' character when she breaks into his room, masturbates on his bed, and then collapses into a stream of frustrated tears. The naive despair here is brought about without compromise."
I'll give the lyrics out later, they're cool...
