200th POST! (A.K.A. watched end of Eureka 7)

So for my 200th post, I will spend it by briefly stating that I watched the end of Eureka 7 on Friday.

And it was pretty awesome. A few "spoilers" though nothing specific, so if you don't want to be spoiled don't read on.

I'll admit that I was a bit disappointed, but overall it was a decent ending. Could've used less cheese though, but if there was less cheese then it might just end up as being another End of Evangelion.

And THAT was a pretty bad ending.

In retrospect the FMA movie was pretty cheesy, the end I mean, though it was rather satisfactory. I would have rather had a different outcome, that is.

Ed and Al should've stayed in their world. Because damnit I was always shooting for EdxWinry!

Looking back at Eureka 7 and the various episodes, got to say, the characters changed, A LOT. Relatively gradual though, so that was quite nice to see (looking at Inu Yasha, 100 episodes in and they still have the same damn characteristics that define them!).

And there were awesome episodes, loved the one where Renton meets the couple in the little house, or whenever there's an awesome fight between LFOs (mechs), especially when it concerns the End.

Pretty awesome series overall, started slow but became really strong. Great show, great show.

Edit a few hours later: Oh hell I'm going to miss Renton and Eureka!

Edit 2, at 11:26 PM: DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE SERIES. If you don't care, then I can't really stop you from watching it, but for Yuy at least DO NOT WATCH IT. It's pretty cool, uses The Fray's "How to Save a Life" (yes...that song) for an Eureka 7 AMV. Tons of episode 50 (the last) spoilers. Do not watch, but still pretty cool anyway.

Ruins the damn series if you watch it...
