That would've been the description in the game journal. This is the Chemist, the missing Nobody of Organization XIII member "Vexen," or the "Chilly Academic." Some in-game consequences of the Nobody would've been...

- Random synthesis item drop

- Fire magic leads to an explosion of the chemicals (deals damage to Chemist and surrounding opponents)

- Ice magic leads to the Chemist being unable to use its potions

- Lightning magic leads to amplified attacks by the Chemist

Some of the changes from the original sketch is that the bowl is no longer on top of the head, the crystal was moved from between the torso and the legs, chemicals were moved into the new chest cavity, and zippers were added to "open" up the test tube holders.
