FLCL: Wierdest thing Eva...get it? Eva? Evangelion? Get it?
Okay, some group is scanlating FLCL...I think they're scanlating, I think! Yes, FLCL is licensed, and both volumes are already published, but HEY! They're releasing, I'm leeching.
I have one chapter left (not yet released) until volume 01 is done. I hope that I can read it all before University starts. I have a few words to describe this manga.
What. Just. Happened. What. Is. Going. On. What. What. What.
Seriously, this is worse than Evangelion, worse being more confusing, which I didn't think was possible.
It's only two volumes for the manga, so I'll probably pick it up. The anime however, is 3 DVDs long, I know, not long, but when it's only 6 episodes long...
Jeez, it's such a wierd manga. Things popping out of a boy's head, this crazy lady, uh...some other robot...I lost.
And yes, the pre-teaser is deader than the deadest, IT'S JUST DEAD. I'm so sick and tired of drawing it, how do artists do it? Gawd, it just feels so pointless, so unfulfilling, and I had schemes for it too! SCHEMES!

And just have to talk about video games, I'm sick of them. It's very hard to find a very good video game nowadays. I mean anime I can reach back to the old classics I've missed, Lain, FLCL, Eva, but with video games...I came FROM the old classics. Damnit I was around when the first Mario came out (and I can beat it into a pulp now!). What can I play now? GTA? Ah, so boring, just running around, killing...
Doom 3? Don't even get me started.
Half Life 2? Another boring FPS...
I mean out of all the games I own, the only ones I truly appreciate are...
StarCraft, if only because I don't want all those hours on battle.net to be just that, hours.
Kingdom Hearts. Disney + Square-Enix + Tetsuya Nomura heading the project = Just about the best damn idea since an italian guy jumping around.
That's it.
What, no Star Ocean 3? Sure it was a fun game, but it wasn't anything like OMFG THIS IS AMAZING. At least Kingdom Hearts had a good storyline, and it's still fun to go around killing Heartless, with Star Ocean 3...I'm just sick of it.
At least with anime I can always go back to the classics, maybe even dig up some Ranma 1/2, if I really REALLY have to. Had a bad experience with it as a kid. See, when you're about 10, and you want to watch DBZ movies (...I was 10!) you go rent LDs, but with movies come promos, and with promos comes Ranma 1/2 clips, and there was a particular clip where Ranma is in his female form and it's late at night when a short, old, perverted man pops in, gets whacked on the head by a blunt object by Ranma's roommate. Old man cries, just wants to see breasts just once or something, Ranma STARTS to take off shirt, old man goes flying out window.
Now when you're 10, only one thing goes through your mind: EWW! Why was that girl taking off her clothes?! Dirty!

are you sure you said eww? a little boy's mindset i might not understand well, but from waht I know of little boys, they are just as dirty as the little girls taht went around humping everyone in site.... don't get me started T_T
well, Yes... FLCL is indeed insteresting, i haven't finished watching it yet T_T.... too weird for me T_T.
But yeah.. have fun with it.
